This piece is based on my original artwork, RAINFALL.

It randomly picks dots based on the current time.

If it’s 8:45 it will assign 8 coloured dots to represent the hours and 45 differently coloured dots to represent the minutes.

This piece, however, isn’t telling real-time, it’s been sped up to show the amount of time that would pass on earth if this clock was on a spaceship moving near the speed of light away from earth.

My goal was to visualise time dilation. We all run out of time, but we could essentially one day, travel forward in time, but never back.
